Let’s be honest!! It seems Women have been objectified sex objects forever! How are we supposed to have change for women’s equality when they are still viewed as sex symbols/objects? Naked women are literally everywhere to be seen in movies/media and even your local convince store! Tell me why that’s a “normal” thing, and why it seems to be only women showed.. Why is it that in the “equal society” we are supposed to live in, I only see woman being shown naked and in a sexual manner (Not that I want naked men in my face ether) FYI lol. But ask yourself, Why is it that nude females are in just about every adult movie? Why is it that there is a section of nudity magazines in stores that even kids can get their hands on to see? Last time I checked there is a ton of women who feel it’s VERY wrong. That it’s not fair (that’s a fact) so why is this still happening? Is it because women/men don’t want to stand up to perverted men and in some rare cases women? The fact is a huge amount of women especially in a relationship or with family/friends have to worry about 18+ movies because there is probably going to be a sexualized woman in all their faces. Even PG13 sexualize women. Soooo many movies have naked women why? It’s for the male gaze. It’s NOT needed to get the point of their scene across.
I personally loove a badass movie, but It’s usually yet again geared towards pleasing men. How can I fully enjoy it when I have to see close ups of a naked woman getting off like wtf! And the worst part is having to see this right beside others! Very awkward. And another fact of the matter is that men who are straight (and lesbians) are turned on by beautiful naked women, it’s in our nature. So basically we are going (if it’s our partner) hey! Have fun watching other woman naked in front of me! But apparently it’s a “normal” thing so we have to put our heads down and ignore it. But isn’t that what the problem is? Us people ignoring the fact that nude women are in our everyday lives!? Well I’m sorry (not really) but when I want to do simple things like watch a movie I shouldn’t be forced to see naked women. If I want to live a “normal” life of course.
Men and women are taught and influenced at a young age that it’s “normal” to see naked women just to view their bodies in a sexual manner. Especially in movies/magazines. They portray woman as if they’re only meant to please men. That they should be seen more then heard, in a lot a cases. Like woman are a prize not a person. Literally every time you go to watch adult movies there is a epicly good chance there is a naked/sexualized woman, and let’s be honest there is virtually no men fully naked. So not only is that wrong in my eyes it’s unfair that men don’t have to put up with this! Equality my ass, but just remember I think it’s wrong in general to shove any sexualized naked people into people’s everyday lives.
Not only that, when girls are young they are showed how to look pretty and that men won’t want you if you don’t look the part. Then being pretty turns into trying to be as sexy as you can. In social media this is happening big time, we live in a electronic world my friend lol. Also it stops women from being who they really are freely. Most feel like if they aren’t hitting societies standards, they are ugly and not worthy like the other girls they see. Isn’t that messed up? And as for boys they are usually raised into thinking this is normal as well. And why wouldn’t they it’s been happening all their lives. I know many fathers out there that have women half naked just posted in their “man cave”. I can really see that impacting kids, starting the idea at a young age that it’s ok to look at woman as objects to view for their bodies. I could go on for days about this stuff.
Also another thing I want to add.. There are so many women who get pressured into getting naked or acting extremely sexy whether it’s “modeling” or in a movie/tv show. There has been many females over the years forced and convinced to be naked when they feel extremely uncomfortable with it. This HAS TO STOP. For the people who love being naked and seeing nudity you can easily go get that fix somewhere else that is meant for that specifically, or in a different way that doesn’t effect allllll the people who don’t want to have tits and ass shoved in their faces. I’m not saying people need to cover up everything and live life like that I’m just saying have a line. Crossing that line would be shoving extremely sexualized and naked people in others faces! Which is pretty obvious.
At the end of the day let’s start raising kids better. Be a good example. Show them what is actually right, not how you were raised. Show them to look at woman as a person and only a person at first, not a object to turn people on. And for the women who try and stand up by going nude and protesting with your shirts off you’re really not doing much for helping women not to be viewed as a sex object. Men will always be attracted to woman (if they are straight) it’s just life. Men (or lesbians) will always be turned on by a naked woman. Facts. So please stop trying to prove a point with going topless it’s not going to do much for us. Thanks for taking 5 mins to see some of my views in life. J
